The Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs (AMCHP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Terrance E. Moore as its Chief Executive Officer.
Moore has spent his career managing the nexus between organizational management and human rights advocacy for racial, sexual orientation, and gender equality. In his most recent appointment as Acting Executive Director at The National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD), Moore served the organization as a transformative agent who fostered strong federal partnerships, business development, and policy advocacy.
“I believe deeply in the vital role of governmental public health to comprehensively and positively impact the lives of women, children and families. This work must be done through a health equity lens,” said Moore who starts at AMCHP on October 18. “I am excited to join AMCHP as the organization continues to work with the entire membership to imagine and implement the best possible program and policy outcomes with anti-racism principles at its core.” Read more about Terrance.
