The Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) announced today that it has named Jennifer Wider as its Vice President for Advancement and Chief Development Officer.

In this role she will be a member of the senior leadership team and have overall responsibility for leading the development function for the Council, which seeks to advance opportunities for low-income and first-generation students to enroll and graduate from college, particularly those served by the Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO).

Wider has generated significant support in corporate, foundation, and government funding for initiatives in a broad range of areas including education, research, capacity building, economic and workforce development, technology, health, justice, and entrepreneurship. Read the full release.
