Public Allies: Director of Finance and Business Operations

Lisa Alfred is the new Director of Finance at Public Allies. Lisa has over 15 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector where she has proven leadership in operations, financial management, human resources, and logistics. She has managed budgets for nonprofits up to $12 M annually and has spearheaded organizational compliance with local and federal regulations, including facilitating tax filings, disclosures, insurance applications, and financial audits.
As Director of Finance Lisa will be charged with managing the day-to-day finances of Public Allies, focusing on the continued development of their finance and accounting systems. Lisa was born and raised in New Orleans where she received her BA in Political Science and History from the University of New Orleans.
