Eric is a seasoned Marketing/Communications executive with over 25 years of experience in the Entertainment/Media industries including work in both the for profit and nonprofit arenas. His broad breadth of expertise includes TV programming, music licensing, multicultural marketing, branding, business development, event production, talent relations, business affairs, youth advocacy, social impact and diversity & inclusion.
Throughout his distinguished career, Liley has held a variety of management positions in marketing at Fortune 500 media/broadcast companies as well as leading nonprofit category leaders. His experience includes roles at Gannett/USA Today, Showtime Networks Inc, BMI Music and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In 1995 he served as the President of the NY Chapter of The National Association of Minorities in Communications (NAMIC), the organization’s largest chapter at the time.
Since 2013 to date, Liley serves as a Co-Managing Partner of Buoyant Partners Inc a boutique social impact-driven marketing and communication company leveraging his comprehensive background to lead the development of branding platforms with a scope of clients that include but are not limited to Comcast-Xfinity, Consumer Health Foundation, Kennedy Center, University of the District of Columbia, Indianapolis Arts Council, Ivy Planning Group, THEARC, Equity in The Center and United Philanthropy Forum.
